In Trb. 2004, 311 is de tekst van de tweede en de derde alinea van Nota Nr. II onjuist opgenomen. De tekst van Nota Nr. II in de correcte volgorde luidt als volgt:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland presents its compliments to the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and has the honour to confirm receipt of note of 2 March 2004 concerning proposal to conclude an Agreement between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Republic of Poland on the privileges and immunities of the liaison officers at Europol with following content:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland has the honour to inform the Embassy that the Republic of Poland agrees to the content of the above-mentioned note and accept proposal of the Embassy that the above-mentioned note and this answer for it shall constitute an Agreement between the Republic of Poland and the Kingdom of the Netherlands on the privileges and immunities of the liaison officers at Europol, which (shall be applied provisionally from the day on which this affirmative note has been received by the Embassy, and which) shall enter into force on the first day of the second month following the date on which the Republic of Poland and the Kingdom of the Netherlands have informed each other that the formalities required for the entry into force have been complied with.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Warsaw the assurances of its highest consideration.

Bij brieven van 8 maart 2005 (Kamerstukken II 2004/2005, 30 042 nr. 1) is het in de nota's vervatte verdrag, met bijlage, in overeenstemming met artikel 2, eerste lid, en artikel 5, eerste lid, van de Rijkswet goedkeuring en bekendmaking verdragen overgelegd aan de Eerste en de Tweede Kamer der Staten-Generaal.

De toelichtende nota die de brieven vergezelde, is ondertekend door de Minister van Buitenlandse Zaken B. R. BOT.

De goedkeuring door de Staten-Generaal is verleend op 8 april 2005.

F. VOORLOPIGE TOEPASSING

G. INWERKINGTREDING

De bepalingen van het in de nota's vervatte verdrag, met bijlage, die vanaf 20 augustus 2004 voorlopig werden toegepast, zijn ingevolge het gestelde in de één na laatste alinea van beide nota's in werking getreden op 1 juni 2005.

Wat het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden betreft, geldt het in de nota's vervatte verdrag alleen voor Nederland.
