Het in rubriek J hieronder afgedrukte administratief akkoord behoeft ingevolge artikel 7, onderdeel b, van de Rijkswet goedkeuring en bekendmaking verdragen niet de goedkeuring der Staten-Generaal.

Ter uitvoering van artikel 3 van de onderhavige Overeenkomst is te Dar es Salaam tussen de bevoegde wederzijdse autoriteiten tot stand gekomen en op 19 september 2001 ondertekend een administratief akkoord tot wijziging van het op 24 juli 1998 te Dar es Salaam tot stand gekomen akkoord inzake het project ter versterking van de kwaliteit van en de toegankelijkheid tot lager onderwijs (tekst in Trb. 1998, 281). De tekst van het akkoord tot wijziging luidt als volgt:

Administrative Arrangement

The Netherlands Minister for Development Co-operation, legally represented in this matter by the Ambassador of the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Dar es Salaam, hereinafter referred to as ``the Netherlands Party",

and

the Minister of Finance of the United Republic of Tanzania, being the competent Tanzanian Authority for the purpose of this Administrative Arrangement, hereinafter referred to as ``the Tanzanian Party",

Having regard to the provisions of Article 3 of the Agreement concerning technical co-operation between the Goverment of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, signed at The Hague on April 27, 1965.

Agree as follows

1. The Administrative Arrangement relating to the Technical Assistance to the District Based Support to Primary Education programme between the Netherlands' Party and the Tanzanian Party signed in Dar es Salaam on 24 July 1998 shall be amended as follows:

  • a. Article 1.5 shall read as follows:

``The aforesaid co-operation between the two Parties is planned to last 60 months from January 1st, 1998 till December 31st, 2002."

  • b. Article II.1.a (The Netherlands Contribution) shall read as follows:

``Provide three international experts for the zonal level and one expert for the central level."

  • c. Article II.2 shall read as follows:

``The total value of the above mentioned Netherlands contribution shall not exceed the amount of NLG 4,885,128.00 (EUR 2,216,774.44).".

2. This Administrative Arrangement shall enter into force with retroactive effect to 1 July 2001 on the date of its signature, and shall expire at the 31 December 2002.

Het akkoord is ingevolge zijn artikel 2 op 19 september 2001 in werking getreden, met terugwerkende kracht tot 1 juli 2001.
