1 De Regeringen van Zweden, Denemarken en Noorwegen hebben met betrekking tot artikel 8 het volgende voorbehoud gemaakt en met betrekking tot de artikelen 11, 12 en 13 de volgende verklaringen afgelegd:

Voorbehoud

“The period of three months shall be calculated from the date of entry into any Nordic State being a Party to the Convention of July 12, 1957, on the Waiver of passport control at the Inter-Nordic frontiers. Any sojourn in any of those States during the six months preceding the entry into any of those States from a Non-Nordic State shall be included in the above period of three months."

Verklaringen

“Article 11

The leader of the party shall possess two additional copies of the collective passport, one of which to be provided the passport control authority at the place of entry into the Nordic passport control area and the other one to be provided the passport control authority at the place of exit from the same area.

Article 12

Each person included in a collective passport must carry an individual identity card bearing a photograph.

Article 13

For the purpose of admission to and stay in (Denmark), (Norway), (Sweden), and subject to reciprocity, the provisions of the Agreement are hereby extended to young refugees and young stateless persons lawfully resident in the territory of another Contracting Party, subject to the following conditions:

i) the inclusion of young refugees or young stateless persons on a collective passport commits the issuing Government to the re-admission without time-limit of such persons to its own territory even when a young refugee or young stateless person does not return with the party;

ii) the names of young refugees and young stateless persons must be listed separately from those of nationals and their status clearly shown;

iii) the collective passport must bear a clear indication at the top that the party is not composed solely of nationals but includes young refugees or young stateless persons."

2 Onder de volgende verklaringen:

«Se référant aux articles 12 et 13 de l'Accord, le Gouvernement du Liechtenstein fait les déclarations suivantes:

– en ce qui concerne l'article 12: L'identité peut être justifiée par tous les moyens qui sont approuvés par la loi.

– en ce qui concerne l'article 13: Les dispositions de l'Accord sont étendues aux jeunes réfugiés et apatrides en conformité avec les dispositions de cet article.»

3 De Regering van IJsland heeft met betrekking tot artikel 8 hetzelfde voorbehoud gemaakt en met betrekking tot de artikelen 11, 21 en 13 dezelfde verklaringen afgelegd als in noot 1) hierboven.

4 Onder de volgende verklaringen:

“Article 11

The leader of the party shall possess one additional copy of the collective passport which is to be delivered to the passport control authorities at the port of entry in the Republic of Cyprus.

Article 12

Each person included in a collective passport must carry an individual identity document bearing a photograph (e.g. an identity card, driving licence, certificate of nationality for travel purposes or a passport which has expired not more than three years previously), or alternatively, a certified photograph of each member of the party to be affixed to the collective passport opposite his or her name. After it has been so affixed, the photograph must be stamped by the authority issuing this travel document in such a way that the photograph cannot be removed or replaced by another.

Article 13

For the purpose of admission to and stay in the Republic of Cyprus, and subject to reciprocity, the provisions of the Agreement are hereby extended to young refugees and young stateless persons permanently resident in the territory of another Contracting Party, subject to the following conditions:

i) the inclusion of young refugees or young stateless persons on a collective passport commits the issuing Government to the re-admission without time-limit of such persons to its own territory even if any of them does not return together with the party;

ii) the names of young refugees and young stateless persons must be listed separately from those of nationals and their status clearly shown;

iii) the collective passport must bear a clear indication at the top that the party is not composed solely of nationals but includes young refugees or young stateless persons."

5 Onder de volgende verklaringen:

“On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, I declare that the Government of the Republic of Macedonia agrees with the provisions of the European Agreement on Travel by Young Persons on Collective Passports between the Member Countries of the Council of Europe, opened for signature on 16 December 1961.

The ratification procedure before the competent organs of the Republic of Macedonia shall be initiated pursuant to Article 68, subparagraph 6, of the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia and Article 14 of the Agreement.

We consider that with this instrument the Republic of Macedonia becomes a signatory State to the European Agreement on Travel by Young Persons on Collective Passports between the Member Countries of the Council of Europe.

At the same time we should like to declare our readiness to sign directly the above mentioned Agreement as soon as possible."

1 Onder de volgende verklaring:

«En ce qui concerne l'article 12 de l'Accord européen sur la circulation des jeunes sous couvert du passeport collectif entre les pays membres du Conseil de l'Europe, il est précisé que les bénéficiaires de l'Accord, même si la Carte nationale d'identité ou tout autre titre équivalent n'est pas exigé à leur entrée en Espagne, doivent toujours en être munis pour vérification éventuelle ultérieure ou sur demande.»

2 Onder het volgende voorbehoud:

«Article 5

Le Portugal limitera à vingt-cinq le nombre maximum de noms qu'un titre de voyage pourra comporter.» (vertaling)

De Regering van Portugal heeft op 29 januari 1988 dit voorbehoud ingetrokken.
