1 Onder de volgende verklaring:

"... with reservation of the provisions of Article 13 of the above mentioned Protocol".

2 Onder de volgende voorbehouden:

"1. That inviolability of archives as provided in Article 2 is applicable exclusively in so far as the archives concern INTELSAT duties;

2. That the privileges and immunities accorded to INTELSAT staff members as well as their families under Article 4 and Article 7 are subject to Indonesian Laws and Regulations;

3. The number and the names of the staff as prescribed in Article 7 paragraph 6, to whom the provision of Article 7 shall apply in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, shall be subject to the agreement of the INTELSAT and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia;

4. The reference for final decision of any dispute to arbitration under Article 13 shall be made upon agreement of the Parties to the dispute."

3 Onder de volgende voorbehouden:

"a) The exemption referred to in paragraph 1 of Article 4 of the Protocol applies to INTELSAT within the scope of its authorized activities, with regard to taxes on its income and property; however, Portugal reserves the right to make the appropriate classifications for income and property.

b) The Provisions of Article 13 do not apply to litigation coming under the jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts in tax matters."

1 Onder de volgende verklaring:

"With reference to Article 4, paragraph 5, of the Protocol, the Government of India declares that the goods belonging to INTELSAT which have been exempted from taxes or duties under paragraphs 2 and 3 of the Article, shall not be sold except in accordance with Indian laws and regulations."

2 Onder het volgende voorbehoud:

"Article 4 paragraph 2 will be applied with the proviso that it entails, for the Republic of Austria, no other obligation than sales tax refund. Sales tax refund will be made by applying as appropriate the provisions which are valid for sales tax refunds to foreign diplomatic representations established in Austria. Sales tax refund will be necessary only in cases where a sales tax exemption has not been possible under the domestic regulations on export sale."

3 Onder het volgende voorbehoud:

"Pursuant to Article 15 of this Protocol, the Government of the Republic of France makes a reservation concerning the application of Article 7 paragraph 1 (e) until such a time as INTELSAT imposes an effective internal tax on the remuneration of its staff." (vertaling)

4 Onder de volgende verklaring:

"Norway in accordance with Article 7, paragraph 5 and Article 8, paragraph 4 will not accord to its nationals and permanent residents the privileges and immunities referred to in said articles."
