Mode S EHS exemption in Amsterdam FIR for FlexFlight Aps Date: April 1, 2015 Number: ILT-2015/23628 THE STATE SECRETARY OF INFRASTRUCTURE AND THE ENVIRONMENT Having read the request from FlexFlight Aps, Mr C. Pedersen, by e-mail dated 14 March 2015, mail cab@flexflight.dk; In regard to article 23, third section of the ‘Besluit luchtverkeer’. DECREE Article 1 An exemption is granted to FlexFlight Aps to perform flights in the Mode S Enhanced Surveillance designated Airspace in Amsterdam FIR with aircraft with nationality and registration marks G-IBZA equipped with a non-EHS capable SSR Mode S transponder. Article 2 Exemptions applying to EHS-non capable aircraft carry no time limit. However, any new mandate that alters the exemption status will be subject to a minimum period of a 5 (five) year notice period. − the grounds for objection.
